Band and Choir

Students in grades 5-8 at Grandview College Preparatory Academy have the opportunity to participate in music classes.  Middle School students can become a part of the band or chorus.  Both groups perform in concerts throughout the year at Grandview and in the community. 

Band: Students learn to play Brass, Woodwind or Percussion instruments.  In the 2018-2019 school year the band has performed In the La Puente Holiday Parade, at the Puente Hills Mall and at schools throughout the district.  Members of the band were selected to be a part of the HLPUSD Middle School Honor Band.  The Advanced Band earned an “Excellent” rating at the district band festival.
